Ok so il be buying some mac eye shadows...i have green eyes,they bit dark green!
i love purple!
In order to make your eyes pop you need to wear colors that have undertones on the opposite side of the color wheel. For green eyes, the best colors to look for are ones that have undertones of red and orange. This doesn't mean to look for shadows that are orange or red, but colors that have undertones of red and orange. I too have green eyes and the some MAC colors that look great on green eyes are the following:
Paradisco, Rule, Folie, Sketch, Cranberry, Coppering, Rice Paper, Honeylust, Mythology, Embark, Amber Lights, Fab and Flashy, Texture, Saddle, Haux, Brown Down, Expensive Pink, Shroom.
Colors in the green and blue family will accent your eye color, but won't make it pop. This is ok, and can still look very good, but that green won't explode in the same way it would with a complimentary shade.
If you like purple, you can still wear it with your green eyes. Try a color like Parfait Amore, Contrast, Nocturnelle, or Plum Dressing.
